Misuse of Fogging Disinfectants Causes EPA Crackdown

In New Jersey, for a time, a ride in an ambulance may have made you sicker. Such was the case for many South Jersey EMTs who began complaining of headaches and nausea. Eventually it took an EPA order to root out the cause: the misuse of fogging disinfectants.

We decided to take a look at this most curious case and the difficult questions it poses for investigators.

Will Intel's Light Peak Interface Beat USB?

Intel's new Light Peak interface, introduced as the new standard port, could replace USB in a number of years. Offering transfer rates of 10Gb/s and expandable up to 100 Gb/s over the next decade light peak could revolutionize the way we connect peripheral devices. Not without criticism, however, OEMs point to possible shortcomings and the heavy task of usurping USB in suggesting the switch from copper connections to optics may come later than Intel thinks.
