What is Facebook Timeline?

Facebook's new "Timeline" feature is Mark Zuckerberg's newest attempt at upgrading the functionality of their users' profile pages. This drastic enhancement is looming over us with an expected launch date of Sept 30, 2011.

Like all changes to Facebook, some users will appreciate the enhancements while others will shun change like the plague. Only time will tell if the Facebook community can learn to accept the new status quo.
