Questional v2.5 Released

Where all the magic happened
I am pleased to announce that after months of hard work and dedication from Questional staff and members, version 2.5 of Questional has been released! This has been one of the most intense revisions of the site we have ever done, and it was not undertaken lightly.

You might think that we re-defined ourselves, but honestly we finally decided to define ourselves. The biggest change from defining ourselves is the categories; there are none! We are now solely focusing our attention on tech & science. From talking with members, looking at our questions and ourselves, we decided this was the future for Questional.

In coordination with that change, we unfortunately had to remove all content from the site that is not tech/science. However, I personally know how hard everyone has worked to accumulate their stats (points, questions, answers etc). Because of that I made sure to backup everyone's stats so they would be unaffected by the deletions.

Blogs + Interviews?!

But we're not just tech/science Q & A, we are also going to be blogging on tech/science. We won't just be re-blogging what everyone else on the net is doing, we're going to be doing in-house unique blogs that are fact filled and even interesting to the non-technical minded.

To push the envelope even further since we are a Q & A site at our core, we thought we might as well do Question and Answer Interviews with some of the most interesting and intellectual tech/science minded folks out there! We are asking the questions that the average person would want to know, and bringing the interview straight to you. No summarizing, just straight Q & A. This is something we are extremely excited about, and hope you guys are too! So keep your eyes peeled over the next few days and weeks.

If you feel as though you would make for a great interviewee, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Featured Questions

As a breath of relief to everyone who has been on the site over the years, we'll no longer have every single question appearing on the homepage. At least once a day the admin will choose a question that we feel deserves to be promoted to the homepage along with the interviews and blogs. Points is something we totally expect to be issued in the future if we choose yours!

So we hope you like Questional 2.5, use it, and tell your friends (click the like and share buttons above). I had to also throw in a goodbye send off to the last version of Questional, it will be missed but not mourned:

Bobbonew! I am virtually speechless! This is great. I knew (*blush*) that if I just held on long enough I would witness something spectacular from you and your friends! Totally excellent work!

(And to think that I was going to post a question asking if Mealy Cyrus had three arms and did she cut off the extra appendage or does she hide it.)

Haha, I figured. I like the wood paneling you have as well. Not a huge fan of wood paneling + wood finish on your desk/table, but the sticky notes and powerade bottles give it enough flair to counterbalance. :)

Good work :D! Totally forgot about this site until I was surfing on Boobo's profile on neo :).
