What is your favorite invention from the past decade?bobbonew:
The past 10 years has given rise to a myriad of technological marvels. From blu-ray to social networking on phones, its amazing the kind of technology and scientific prowess the world now possesses. Even in the early 90's it would have been impossible to predict the world as it is now. |

I think one of my favorite inventions from the past decade has to be the isolation of certain wireless frequencies, mainly the ones for WIFI and 3G/4G. I couldn't imagine living in a world where relatively high speed wireless data transmission on phones was not readily available, or not being able to browse the internet wirelessly on a laptop. |

Even as a M$oft kinda guy, gonna have to go with the iPod. Apple's little high-capacity player have revolutionized: |

I gotta weigh in by mentioning my portable GPS...I just love being able to set my coordinates and go. Even if it does get a little lost itself every once in a while, I still rather have it on that dark rainy nite than a paper map I can't fold or a friend trying to describe the rock that looks like Lincoln where I was supposed to turn. |

The only thing I can think of right now is the Creative Zen X-Fi. I love how it can connect to the internet, so with a little cooking I could get a web browser on there. There's freakin' web-chat through it, and it's got double the memory of an 8 gig iTouch, and it's half the price. |

I have to go with Tivo. I honestly don't miss having to video tape episodes of shows. |

Tissue regeneration is my favorite. They are printing certain tissues and organs with a modified inkjet printer in the labs. Instead of ink it uses cell nutrients. The printer sprays the nutrient onto a scaffold that is in the shape of the organ or tissue form. I think it will save many lives in the future. Check it out! |

It's blu-ray bobbo, blu not blue! In the next decade, it'll be violet ray though :P |
